A tiger-type Zoid of the Guylos Empire (Dark Army) [75]. The “Gul” in its designation indicates its assignment to sabotage units [77]. While specialized for intelligence-gathering missions, it also excelled in close combat thanks to its reinforced armor [75]. After the introduction of the Ice Blazer, it was also deployed as an escort unit alongside the Sieg Doberman [78]. Even after the Great Catastrophe on Planet Zi in ZAC 2056, it survived and was redeployed for the reconstruction of the Guylos Empire. It was active in the battles of 2059 [76].
Armament / Equipment
Ultra-compact Charged Particle Cannon Mounted on its back. Possesses high destructive power [75]. However, it does not have the strength to penetrate the Mad Thunder’s Anti-Charged Particle Shield [67].
Twin Beam Gun Mounted on its back.
Paralyzer Mounted on its tail. Has the effect of paralyzing enemy movement [79].
Side Guarders Armor on the shoulders of its four limbs.
Doppler Radar Mounted in the ears of the Gul Tiger.
Power Connector Mount for grade-up units.
Role in the Story
One unit that fought against the Thunder Hercules was struck by its attack and blown away [80].

Gyro Clutter [76] |
A variation of the Gul Tiger equipped with its exclusive grade-up unit, the Gyro Clutter [81]. The Gyro Clutter’s energy amplification system also boosted the firepower of the Zoid’s own weapons [81]. With the Gyro Clutter attached, the Gul Tiger also gained the ability to perform long-distance flight [81].
When the magnetic storm environment caused by the Planet Zi Great Catastrophe rendered flying Zoids using the Magnéssor System inoperable, the Gyro Clutter, which gained thrust through large fans, functioned as equipment unaffected by that problem [82]. By ZAC 2059, it was deployed as the first flying Zoid since the Catastrophe [76].
Role in the Story
It participated in the attack on the Republic frontline base at Entrance Bay, Dark Continent, in October ZAC 2053 [71]. In another storyline, it is also seen intercepting Republic forces that had invaded to capture the Black Challenger [83].
