The Helic Republic military’s early development of an amphibious frog-type submersible Zoid. Originally designed as a survey craft, it was later adapted to perform reconnaissance and light attack missions. In addition to surface movement, it possessed the ability to submerge and operate underwater, as well as function on land.
After the Planet Zi Great Catastrophe in ZAC 2056, where many Zoids went extinct, Aquadon no longer appeared in the Battle Story (such as in the Official Fan Books).

Model Kit
RMZ-05 Aquadon Released in 1983. Powered by a small wind-up power unit. On land, it moved by wheel-running while pumping its hind legs. By placing styrofoam in the port and starboard ballast tanks, buoyancy was secured, and the hind-leg paddling gimmick allowed it to float and actually swim on water.
Helic Memorial Box 1983 Released July 28, 2006. Included as part of a five-Zoid set with Elephantus, Garius, Glidoler, and Glanchula.
