A dinosaur-type Zoid of the Helic Republic army that rolled out in the 1960s of ZAC [49]. At the outbreak of the Central Continent War, it was a machine with good combat ability and mobility, also engaging in reconnaissance missions [93]. Later, as its successor RMZ-11 Godos was developed, it was withdrawn from the front lines and used as a training machine [18]. After the great planetary Zi catastrophe in ZAC 2056, in which many Zoids became extinct, it was no longer sighted [Note 2].
The technical data lists the Maxer 35mm Beam Gun, Elpa Missile Launcher, and Pyclareshot [93][Note 15], but the mounting locations are unknown.
RMZ-01 Garius Released in 1983. Powered by a small wind-up motor called the Power Unit, it walked bipedally while moving its hands up and down slightly. Its tail served as support during this motion. In the Zoids Battle Card Game, Garius had a special effect called “Slender Body,” which made it more susceptible to melee attacks but harder to hit with shooting attacks [94].
